Innovation and problem identification (start your own business)
This model chair is made from soft foam and some metal. As it is only a concept model for the design, it is not as detailed as some other models may be, and there is not a precise scale. It is made though with a certain detail level, making it possible to see what the different components are supposed to be like.
Project Details
This semesters project was divided into an innovative part and a technical part. This was the innovative part.
The task was to start our own business and make a business plan for our company. The faculty advisor would then act like potential investors, who wanted to invest in our company. In my team we decided to make a “designer massage chair”, as we found a potential market for this type of furniture in Scandinavia, as non of the existing chairs matched our furniture tradition.
