Project Details

For Interaction Research I was working together with 3 other ITPD students on a research project for a large design company. We are conducting research on patients and their “relationship” with their medication. The outcome of this project was a book full of papers on our findings, work with personas, summaries of previous work conducted within the field and recommendations for future work on the subject. In total the book contained 15 of such papers.

To learn about people's habits I conducted video interviews at three different outpatient clinics at the local hospital in Sønderborg. There I interviewed parents and their children, teenagers, adults and elderly patients suffering from various deseases. I did a qualitative study on how these patients manages their medication, how they get by it everyday and gained an interesting insight into how these people live their life and got some very useful statements that could be used further on in a design process.
