Project Details

This semesters project was divided into an innovative part and a technical part. This was the technical part.

This project was about problem identification. The faculty advisors had bought a cheap chinese bench drill, that probably just had been copied from something they had seen at an industrial exhibition. We had to analyze the bench drill, redesign five parts and do calculations on them, and finally we had to make a technical file for the bench drill and make sure that it was according to the EU Machinery Directive.
